Skincare: Clinique

When I was around 15ish my mom bought me a full set of Clinique skincare products. I have since stopped using the brand up until I saw the "Even Better Dark Spot Corrector" ads everywhere I look.  You have to know what I am talking about - the ads are all over the freaking place! Well about 6 months ago I decided to give it a try. I needed a new day serum to wear under my moisturizer. I don't know how to tell you how amazing this product has worked for me! I had dark spots around my chin where I had loads of acne....GONE! My skin has gotten so even toned that I skip the foundation on a occasions.  I just purchased my second bottle today and also got the "Even Better Eyes" to try out.

 the spots a little but this clinique product did the work-I hate this pic!}

Price....it's not cheap but anything that works and has quality isn't going to be. Happy Friday to all of us!

Retail Therapy LOVE

Yesterday I was in major need of some quick retail therapy and Old Navy was right in front of me. I'm in the process of revamping my entire closet and adding more clothes was not on the plan just yet but it has been one of those weeks so Friday Retail Therapy was just what I needed!

My new rule: "If I don't LOVE it I don't buy it."

I have been wanting to add polka dots to my wardrobe (maybe a tank) this was just too much polka dots for me and the cut was just not my style. I think its a perfect summer dress for a picnic but it was just too kiddish and mommy like for me. Nothing wrong with that but I didn't LOVE it.

I saw this on the rack and was like there is no way my behind can pull that off but as I was in the dressing room waiting for another size this dress was hanging on the "didn't work out rack" and I decided to try it on. LOVED the way it fit and the material was super soft!

In addition to the striped dress I picked up 2 tops that I LOVED...not bad for a 20 min retail therapy session?

Cabo San Lucas: Part 1

Vacations are a must! Even if it's a 5 minute daydream.....It was more like a 6 day daydream for us. I can't rave enough about the Secrets Chain resorts. It was our 2nd time at one. Here are a few shots from a day at Lover's Island.

MAC: Impassioned...on the beach

I always shift towards pink lipsticks. I love reds and plums but pink just always looks better on my skin tone. "Impassioned" is an amplified color from MAC. The amplified line gives a more intense color and really doesn't have much moisture which is a downside but the color payoff is worth it to me. I just dab a little chaptick in the middle of my lips.
