Kiss me Coral

Houston heat is insane during the summer. When the weekend rolls around and I am out and about running errands - the last thing I want to even do is put on makeup because I know its coming right off! Revlon's "Kiss Me Coral" is my go to lip color this season. Its bright, bold and intense!

A "Spolied" Saturday

Last week I attended an event for Houston Bloggers hosted by Google+ (I am still trying to figure that out) and the Niche Mommy. I met several interesting bloggers but Yvonne first caught my eye because her blouse was so cute! It was bright yellow! I love wearing yellow in the summertime. Her blog "SpoiledLatina" is about beauty, fashion, entertainment and spoiling yourself - because we all deserve it! Spoiling myself is exactly how I spent my Saturday!

For the longest time I totally forgot about horoscopes. I used to love reading them in the Sunday paper as a kid and I would be so anxious to read my teen magazine every June! Do you read your horoscope? How much of it is true? What's the best source?

I have been seriously exploring drugstore beauty a lot lately. With all the CVS deals I couldn't resist these cream shadows. I picked up this purple shade in
"Perpetual Purple"

. What I like about the shadows is that its perfect to wear as a base under shadows or you can apply it under the eyes with a brush. I recommend applying it on your lid with your fingertips. I will be going back to pick up a more neutral everyday color.

Revlon LipButter

Everyone has been raving about the new Revlon lipbutters! After admiring Emma Stone in all the adds I had to try it out for myself. Where is the "Like" button when you need it?

On the Set!

Several weeks ago I shoot an industrial video for Chevron's Integrated Decision Environment (IDE). It's basically a room with video conferencing capabilities. It was a long day of filming with lots of dialogue and detailed instructions. The best part of shoots like this for me is meeting the crew (makeup artists and sound guys) I would be lying if I said the shoot was fun but thank god for teleprompters! Happy Tuesday!
