NYX LipGloss

Happy Monday friends! Have you heard of the NYX brand? You can find it at grocery stores (HEB) Ulta and some clothing stores. It's dirt cheap and they have all the colors you want. I really like their lip liners and some of their glosses. The gloss goes on like a lipstick and has a thick creamy texture like a gloss. I bought this gloss a while back and I forgot how much I liked it!

A few weeks ago we had a few friends over for a small intimate dinner party. I had told myself to keep it simple but it had been a while since we entertained at our home so I think I got a little carried away - plus I was in the mood to experiment with some recipes. Filmmaking

So I am adding another hobby to my list. Filmmaking! The word "Filmmaking" sounds a bit too fancy for what I am actually doing so lets just call it home video making....ok now that just sounds scandalous...I have been fascinated with editing video's lately. Well, actually for a while but I am now just getting around to it. Editing a film is so time consuming and tedious. I am still learning as I go. I am using the basic windows movie maker but I would really love to learn how to edit in Final Cut Pro. Here is a video I made from some of the footage from our trip to Rome. Its a little cheesy with the song. I don't have much music on my laptop and this one seemed to work the best.
