Filming the "Moonglow" Trailer

Yesterday I felt like I was really in Texas. I drove out to the Liendo Plantation. Its basically an old house built in 1853. You can read more about it here: http://www.liendo.org/plantation.html
The house was perfect for the setting of Moonglow. The scene was a dinner party in 1933. We all sat around a table drinking champagne (Ginger Ale) and having fake conversations while they filmed us. I had a couple of rehearsed lines. It was fun and I met some interesting people. I was really impressed with the crew. Everyone was extremely professional. I always love meeting creative people and then going online and viewing their work. The DP of Moonglow: http://vimeo.com/ufoclub1977  The only pitfall of the day was that one of the crew members backed into my car damaging the bumper. What else can you do but fix it.

Christmas is here!

Last year was Ciaren's first Christmas and we were all so excited. This year Ciaren is celebrating in India. Missing him like crazy today! Spending the day cleaning the house, baking gingerbread cookies for the Mr. and uploading my Mom's Ipad with pictures and desi music (Xmas gift to her - from me - my mother is obsessed with you tube..lol). Moonglow

Hello Groupies! I got some exciting news yesterday! This past Sunday I auditioned for a film called Moonglow. The casting was just for the promo trailer that is being shot on Monday. I got the part! I knew I was perfect for it. Though I don't have the actual part for the feature film it puts me in high consideration for the part and filming the trailer will kind of be my second audition (callback). The role is Anjuli. The film takes place in the 1930's.  The scene we are filming on Monday is a dinner party. About 2 weeks ago I shot a short scene in Peter Malek's short film called "Bromance" I played Priya Mohanlal Ragnikanth Gupta. Yes I thought of the name except the Priya part. I met Peter in acting class this past year. He is supper funny so I know this film is gonna be hilarious. The film will be submitted to film festivals so I will keep you updated in any news about the film here! He also has a facebook page you can like for updates.
