When I tell someone I have a blog I get 1 of 2 questions/comments: 1. What is your blog about? 2. I always wanted to start a blog but I just don't have the time.
I pondered the idea of starting this blog 1 year before I actually did it. I started discovering blogs by photographers whom I worked with on my bridal clients. I thought how cool would it be to talk about all the things I liked and showcase my creative work! But I was one of those.."I'm too busy for a blog" and to top it off I am such a private and reserved person, I asked myself would I really be able to pull off a blog where strangers could freely come and read my business? (Isn't that already kinda happening with my Facebook account ~ 600 plus friends) Did I want that? This still makes me extremely nervous! I hate talking about myself but I have so many things I want to share. So I am sitting here asking myself why am I blogging?
This blog gives me a creative outlet where I can talk about my latest projects, showcase my photography, artwork & bridal clients, do beauty product reviews, document acting gigs and most importantly to me it's a place to store my thoughts.
Through this process of blogging I have found an awesome group of creative ladies that go by:
"H-Town Blogger Hotties"
I finally got a chance to meet some of them today.
